Our Process

Welcome to Key Design Cayman. The first part of your design journey is to complete our questionnaire so we can discover what you are looking for.

You can also provide any examples of designs and styles you like, share any floor plans or images of the space you are designing and let us know the budget you are working with.

You will meet with our consultant, Natasha to discuss your needs, preferences and budget.

After deciding on your project requirements, our architect will create your bespoke furniture packages for you to choose from.

You will be offered various options for each room and will be able to mix and match packages and designs.

Once the package has been chosen a 30% deposit will be required. Once payment is received you will receive 3D renderings of your designs to ensure you are happy with the selection.

At this stage, changes can be made to colour schemes and accessories. Packages can also include: mattresses, drapes, lamps, closets, bedding & linen, artwork, rugs and non-electric kitchenware.

Once all selections are finalised a further 30% payment is required. Your furniture will then be built and packaged for delivery.

When your order is complete, the remaining payment will be required to arrange shipping. The delivery time is between 4 to 6 weeks. We will not ship your project until requested so if your development is delayed, we can hold your project to avoid storage costs upon arrival.

Once your project arrives on the island we will deliver it to your allocated address.

*All prices will be given in USD and will not include Cayman duty and landing costs. Additional costs will be calculated at the port and are usually around 30%

Key Design Cayman will also install the project for a fee of 10% of the package cost.

This will include furniture construction, installation and set up. All accessories will also be taken care of including the hanging of drapes, sheets washed and beds made, pictures hung and art & accessories set up on display.

With our installation service you can open the door to your complete, move-in ready home.
